Brownies Anyone?

Today in between General Conference, we decided to do what we did last year, make brownies! This time, in our pantry, we found four boxes of three different flavors.

We shared them with four of our neighbor families and they loved them! I guess a new tradition is born for Sunday Conference.

Last year, for the October Sunday General Conference, I made dark chocolate fudge brownie cupcakes. Today, I made...

Chocolate Fudge...

Milk Chocolate Chunk (it had chips inside)

and Dark Chocolate Fudge!

Do you want some?

Day 40

Love is a Covenant

"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:"
Ruth 1:16 KJV

DARE:
Write out a renewal of your vows and place them in your home. Perhaps, if appropriate, you could make arrangements to formally renew your wedding vows before a minister and with family present. Make it a living testament to the value of marriage in God’s eyes and the high honor of being one with your mate.

What I Did:
As we are Mormons, this is not something we do.
But in honor of this dare, I will recommit my life to my husband.

Yes! I'm done, I'm done!!!

I have an idea that is LDS for the dare, go to the temple and do a sealing! That would remind you of your special day, and be so much fun because the temple in Houston is Georgeous! Those brownies look soooooo good! Congratulations on finishing the dare that is awesome! You guys are such an awesome match to begin with!

You have such a beautiful blog! I can't believe I have missed it. Thank you so much for your amazing wonderful encouragement on my Texastumbleweed blog today. I really thought I had missed God somewhere and was just going to focus on my other 3 blogs that were doing so much better. Thank you. I really do enjoy blogging and look forward to getting to know you. What an amazing family and so glad to meet you.

Thank you so much ladies! I will try to do the Houston temple thing this summer as I'm going to meet with my first cousin who lives there.

Debbie, you are very welcome! I'm so glad that I saw Deb's blog today. I did a lot of errands and barely got home when I checked to see hers. I was actually feeling so grateful for seeing some bluebonnets today on the side of the road in Irving. They just looked marvelous carpeting the sides.
