First, my dear L-Infinity is not coming with us as she is still in Michigan. I'm sad/mad about that. I miss my baby...
Then, telling the smallish kiddos about it to get them to be more helpful, didn't work. They kept getting distracted which doubled my chores.
The laundry wasn't cooperating as the dryer wasn't doing a great job drying even with a very clean lint screen.
Then... The cakestand and two big bowls I received from Freecycle and one of the Pyrex bowl we got at our wedding- are no more... *crash!!!!* Just glad I'm the only that was the casualty of the break, I got cut on the finger- inevitable when you have this kind of break from multiple glass! (Oh, look that's where some of the Fruit Loops went...) Two things survived, my green Italian plate and the small Pyrex bowl, but the others... We're talking fine glass powder! It took almost an hour to clean it all up!
But after a small price of getting cut, some backbreaking squats, dusting off glass from the bookcase/buffet, sweeping and vacuuming the carpet and throwing away all the glass, things are cleaner and back to normal. Whew! And, and... I was able to swap out the shelves for the coming Fall season! Took advantage of the situation as some would say. *wink*
One piece of consolation, before the bad crash, the kiddos and I managed to make some uber delish, blackberry shake with some milk and "Black Raspberry with Chocolate Chunks" ice cream by Kroger's Private Select. Yummy to the infinity power!
Those blackberries though frozen, were creamy, juicy and so soft. I couldn't stop spooning some into my mouth while I was talking to Mr. Man on the phone. Sorry dear! LOL
Here, I made you one! Enjoy!
Still doing laundry. Still packing. Still cleaning. So I thought I'd take a break and blog instead! ;-)
Hope your Saturday was better than ours...

That is no fun when kids do not lisson. That is sad about what happen to your bowls. I hope that you can pack and have time to sleep before going tomorrow!!
Thanks for looking and commenting on my blog!!
You bet and I know... I'm so exhausted!
So sorry Chandy. That is really to bad about your bowls. It is hard to get all of the glass pieces when that happens.
You have been busy. The blackberrys look so good.
Jan, you're telling me... :-(
How dare those dishes break! I am soo sorry for your finger, and your dish collection :-( I hope that everything ran smoother today! Not for me I had a power outage and an outrageous scare at church. Maybe tomorrow will be more cooperative right?
I hope your Sunday was better too, A! Sometimes, bad days just blind side us, you know?
Sending you big hugs!
