Goodwill Hunting- Cha-ching!

I woke up and something told me that I should check my email right away. Good thing, my laptop is currently on my nightstand. So I did and this nice lady thru Freecycle responded back about my request for some serving bowls.

It was a beatiful duo she gave me and both were her mother's when she catered. What a great legacy to hand down to me. And she also promised to email me more bowls as her brother brings over the rest of her mother's catering bowls. I'm so grateful and excited!

Then we went over to Goodwill and found some great dishes. Some Homer Laughlin J-83 saucers, Gibson off white dishes with embossed wheat stalks pattern, a Spode "Christmas Tree" Dessert Plate with handle, 4 crystal goblet with a very thin gold rim, 2 American Atelier's "Lara's Garden" salad plates and 2 Mikasa Country English Collection "Aristocrat" dinner plates.

(Mikasa "Aristocrat" from the Country English Collection)

I featured some and will be featuring the others on my tablescaping blog.

After lunch, we continued to organize my dining area and found that my two trunks in the living room can hold all of my table linens! Yes!!!
